I've heard about this before, some people say they have experienced entire lifetimes in dreams. Of course, due to relativity, we can't have our own little time warps in our little brains but one can wake up and feel as if they have lived an entire life (or more) in a lucid dream, but then things get weird. Your brain can create false memories, trust me, it's possible, but lets say you remember having broken ankles for a while and you walked awkwardly for about 6 weeks, then you bring this up in conversation with your friends or family and they all say 'that never happened, what are you on about?' but you really do remember having broken ankles for 6 weeks and you really do remember the pain. Well, you don't. It never happened. This is a false memory. And that might be what happens with people that think they lived entire lifetimes in dreams. So yes, maybe it is possible to have a life in a dream, but you won't exist consciously in this alternate reality because that is impossible, it will only ever exist as a memory, when you wake up. |
