Thread: Strange sensation in my ears during transition

This happens a lot. Like for example yesterday, I was enjoying my hypnagogia, visualizing the earth trying to decide where to start dreaming from. No vibrations were present. I started drifting, I was so close and then "WOOSH". The feeling is very close to "blowing when holding your nose to open eustachian tubes" and "wind blowing in my ear". And I noticed something interesting. When I'm transiting lying on my side, I only get this sensation on the ear which is not touching the pillow.

It disrupts my transition. Have you guys had a similar sensation?
