      Reeeeeally Awake

Hey everyone! I woke up from my first DIlD. Although it was blurry and only lasted a few minutes I'm extremely satisfied that I have some benefit for all my efforts. Anyways, one of the things I've noticed is that as soon as I woke up, I had a high degree of wakefulness. Almost like I just had 3 cups of coffee but it feels very natural. Usually it takes me an hour to wake up and I'd like to know whether this is just my excitement or something that LDs actually produce. I've never read about being awake after lucid dreams, does anyone else get this? Thanks a lot!

I get like that too, it feels as if I woke up from being awake.
I'm not entirely sure if LDs produce them but I can tell you that I get very excited after I wake up from an LD, never gets old! And I always feel awake

      Congratulations!
Yea I guess your brain is more prepared for waking up after LD. Hmm this brings an interesting topic on...is the morning sleepiness caused just by the mind getting used to being awake? I mean not like turning on the brain but simply realizing that the sleeping is over.
If you feel like it, please take a look at my YouTube channel:

I too am pretty awake and pumped after an LD. And "waking" from an LD is really more like transitioning from one consciousness to another...like you were not asleep before...only in another "place".
