haha this happens to me a lot, I actually made a thread about it: |

In my lucid dreams, I notice that -particularly towards the end of the dream- my actions feel a bit... off. Like I am no longer really suffering from not being able to use dream control (although I generally stick to the basic things, like flying) but my thoughts, reasoning and actions feel like they are not really mine anymore. I start doing things that surprise me once I wake up, and fudge a lot of interesting scenarios. Could be that it will simply vanish as I increase my mindfulness and awareness. |

You're not going to master the rest of your life in one day. Just relax. Master the day. Then just keep doing that every day.

Shabby, for me what you're describing is mostly present in non-lucids, but in some lucids as well. I think losing mental control in lucids is a sign of losing awareness - it's like your mind slowly falls back into the non-lucid state, and because of that your personality becomes less characteristic like in any non-lucid dream. |

Interesting replies. Thanks! |
