      Question Mindfulness Question?

      Hey, dreamers. Quick question:

If there is a time that we are not in our thoughts, does that automatically make us mindful and exist in that moment?

I'd really appreciate your responses because I find that whenever I catch myself in my thoughts, I'm not paying attention to the present. So, I just wanted to clear that up and see what you guys think.
If you were to wake up right now, what would you write in your Dream Journal?

That's true, our attention is either on our thoughts or our awareness. And in order to become lucid, you first have to be aware of the dream.

But, without your thoughts, there's no access to memory, which is also crucial in becoming lucid.

Mindfulness is a mental state achieved by focusing one's awareness on the present moment, while calmly acknowledging and accepting one's feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations.

Let yourself think about what you're aware of at the present moment.

That makes sense because lately, all I've been doing is trying to stay out of my thoughts and be in the moment. It is bringing me great recall but, there are many times in the same dream where I notice weird things and looki dead at them, but still don't become lucid. I just move on.

If I stay aware of the current choice(s) that I'm making in this moment (since we are always choosing to do or not do something), would I be set to become lucid in my dreams?

If you're aware of the who, what, where, why, and how behind your awareness, you'll be set to become lucid.
