      Thumbs up My first lucid? I think so!

      Okay so last night, after 2 years of trying, I think I had my first lucid dream.
      I woke up at 4:15 as suggested by another user (instead of waking at 2:30) and tried the FILD technique again. I have been trying this for a few months now and it wasn't working, but the waking up later really did the trick. I didn't actually go straight into a lucid however, it happened more like a DILD (did a reality check at my bedroom window and realised I was dreaming). Outside my window was nothing. Literally NOTHING. I was more like "wow this is crazy, I'm in a dream", then more like "calm down, remember if you don't stay calm then you'll wake up". So I calmed myself down a little but the excitement was already too much , and I woke up. I'm not entirely sure if this was lucid, and if it was it'd probably be like a layer 2 lucid dream, but it's HUGE progress and so I woke up very feeling great, even though I have school this morning
      I meditated using 'the mindfulness app' yesterday night for 30 minutes, which was the first time in a while.
