As I am not religious, meditation to me is achieving a state of mind that otherwise would not happen. There are real world applications for this and I that it is a good thing to take part in. I do not know much about the religious connections to meditation but do not see it as such. |

I'm sure most people will tell you on here that it's not. I don't think it is. It depends on who you ask. Ultimately you will have to decide for yourself. |

Meditation is integrated into some religions, but I don't think meditation itself is a religious practice; it's just a form of relaxation that can have many benefits. |
