dreams after 8 / 9 hours of sleep

      Hey all,

I always sleep from like 11 pm / 12 am until 8 am and don't have a problem remembering a few dreams every night but sometimes when I have a day off I sleep 2 to 3 hours (8 - 11 am) longer but I find it really hard to remember dreams in that period. Shouldn't there be lots of REM in this period? I just wake up remembering nothing.

Do you have Dream Journal? It's a first step, but you could also try eating some bananas. Try to get up at 5:30 am, read something about lucid dreaming, walk around and perform WILD. When trying to remember dreams, don't move when you wake up and try to remember them through day. It's like a skill, you become better.

Your intention to be aware of your dreams is drifting off. You just have find a way to stay motivated to maintain whatever awareness practice you were doing earlier in the night. Just because there's more REM later in the night doesn't mean that you can put in less effort to be aware during your dreams.

@angstrem98 Yeah i do have a dream journal and write 1/2 dreams per night in it. WILD really isn't my method for now i'll stick to MILD first.

@dolphin Thanks. I quess i'm thinking too easy about it and that might be the problem indeed.. Next time i'll set my intention again te remember my dreams.
