Is it possible to not sleep 4 days then go sleep for like 24 hours?

If I wouldn't sleep for 4 days. Then I would go sleep, I would probably sleep for like 24 hours. During those could I controll dreams? For like 24 hours.

Also I today started recording dreams. From now on I will wake up and record dreams on computer. Here is what I wrote today: (all that I remembered at least)
I had a controll over group of people. I told leader to execute them all. Once he done that I [think] I started to take accept new people to the job of security/gang group/just group.

In 1 moment of dream I was sitting in geography class and my teacher (Ms. Lavelle) Came to me and gave my test back and said:
She: Here is your test, it's ....
      Me: Worse than previous?
She: Yes worse than previous but still not bad.

Then in another moment I was in school library and there was another teacher (Mr. Ohare) He told me:
He: Have you ever tried to create music on computer?
      Me: No.
He: Maybe you should try, there is a computer (then he asked librarian to give me access to computer)
Me: I only do 3D models on computer at home you know, people make a request and in that request they mention the price or maybe free. THen I make them.
He: Oh Yeah that's good, but you should try to create music, you will do it.
Me: It's hard but I guess I can try.

      (Then I woke up.)

( Can't remember anything else. Really vivid and bloomy dream. Quite bad. )

Quite nice it is actually to go sleep remembering what you saw in last dream.

Hey, welcome to dreamviews! I think you should get fruity loops or something and start making music on the computer! Haha.

And as for the not sleeping for four days... That's really not healthy and I could never recommend you do that in good conscience. I've done it, but normally not because I wanted to. Sleep deprivation is all bad. Why would you not want to sleep for four days?

Thearareticly because you would have more REM periods then if you slept 8 hours for four days.

I was always a dreamer, in childhood especially. People thought I was a little strange.-Charley pride

I agree it would he extremely unhealthy, so I would nt recommend it. You have over an hour of rem each night, meaning an hour to ask if you are dreaming. Just make sure to do so at less-than-hour intervals in the day time and you should be good.

Welcome to DV, arletiss. I suspect that, if successful with having 24 hours of lucid dreaming, recalling it all in the morning would be too much to handle. You'd likely forget a very good amount of what you dreamed, eliminating the point of doing this in the first place. With separate days/less lucidity at once, you have a higher chance of recalling it all.

If you go through with it, best of luck! I would only think this should be attempted by somebody with good dream recall.

Your body would go immidiatly into dream sleep but it wouldn't be easy to control. Also if you are using any substances such as drugs or alchohal to stay up that will screw up your REM sleep too. I find that when I get too much sleep and then take a mid day nap I get the best lucid dreams.

I have pretty bad insomnia and will stay up several days at a time, and let me tell you - it is not pretty. And when you finally crash, you crash hard! You would have to have some pretty good recall skills to remember those dreams. I agree that you shouldn't mess with it and also agree with the midday nap after plenty of sleep.
