      Second lucid, first in months!

Last night I had my second lucid dream, but it was about 3 months after my first. I'm not complaining, my first lucid dream took 3 years of trying, I'd just like a couple answers on what happened.

So, it was a DILD, I was inside a Coldplay music video and I told some little girl that she was in a dream, then I realised that I was the dreamer. I told myself to calm down and ended up in my bed anyway. I tried to synthesise a new dreamscape so I could get back into a dream, but it didn't work. I didn't try moving, I thought that I might as well go straight back to sleep. I did pretty quick after, but I'm just wondering why I was kicked out the dream, I didn't jump around and send my heart rate skyrocketing, and I didn't breathe too fast either, I just wanna know why I woke up.

      Thanks a lot guys!

Nice going, congratz! Maybe you had the subconscious idea/fear/intention of waking up which made you wake up for real. Just the thought of you maybe waking up can sometimes trigger it to really happen. Try focusing on your dream body and take in all the stimulus from the dream world, so you'll ground yourself to that body and to that world. Also try rubbing your hands together and spin in a circle. Getting down on your knees and crawling around is effective too ( at least in my experience, it's kinda silly, though )
