This not exactly an answer to your question but I hope it will be of some help.

You need to approach your search one step at a time. Before seeing if you can predict the future you need to examine the truth of your underlying assumptions.

3) How do you get a prediction and test it against reality?

Thomas Campbell, a OBE explorer who worked closely with Robert Monroe, talks about this in a few of his lectures. He said that you can look into the future, but the way he tells it, there are many probable futures, and so one can look into the future and observe the most probable one, but there is no guarantee that particular future you observe will become true. Also the farther into the future one looks the more the possible outcomes multiply until it becomes very unlikely on will come across the 'real' future. It do not imagine this would be very helpful for predicting lottery numbers, but I imagine such a thing would be very helpful predicting the most likely outcome of man kinds progress, or lack there of. For the person doing it I imagine it would be remarkable exiting and of course I would like to do it as well. As fare as the method itself I do not recall it in detail, I would simply refer you to the work of Thomas C. either his books or his lectures which can be found for free on you tube.

Predicting the future its easy.

Having your prediction turn out to be correct, consistently, is hard.

"Many probable futures". Those would be potential predictions, or guesses then?

What about predicting the lottery numbers? Shouldn't that be precise?
