I almost always know I'm dreaming but this time was different. Help?

This time my dream started off in a very normal college setting. I think we had been on a trip and got stranded because our bus broke down. We were all waiting around and everyone was a stranger to me. I began to make small talk with a certain person. In my dream we became close while waiting to leave only we never departed. Just like dreams do the scenery started to change and it was just him and I all of the sudden. I felt a strong connection to the person. It wasn't like I knew him but I wanted to know him. I wanted to take him on an adventure. I have controlled my dreams before but this time was different. I had total control. I knew I was dreaming and so did he. We began in a marsh land. Our feet were bare and we had mud between our toes. That was the first place I took us. Then I thought I wanted to be somewhere more beautiful so the ground started to rise and before I knew it I was struggling on a steep hill. Unable to keep a foothold I closed my eyes and though "flat!". This is the only way I know to describe jt. I also have an obsession with water. Especially in my dreams. I always have water in my dreams. So I thought water, I need water and we were then at a very beautiful lake. As far as I knew I had never seen the place before or anything like it. We stayed there and swam and while in the water I wanted to be at a beach instead so I thought of a beach. And the scenery began to change again. My feet were touching sand and there were little magical devices that we could grab onto and go soring. I still remember what it was like to be in the air and then coming back down. It was almost like there was no gravity but only when we had the devices in our hands. We landed in the water and there were ships in the distance. The water was a clear blue and the man I met said to me "you're getting good at this" and I told him that if he thinks that's good then he should watch what happens next, and i wanted to make something else appear but instead I grabbed a fishing pole that was propped up somewhere. This is where it gets strange. He kissed me. And it wasn't like a quick thing. I remember every little detail of thinking I wanted him to kiss me. I remember our noses touching and lingering there as if we were both afraid. But then he leaned in and kissed me. In my dream it felt amazing. like if this was the person I was meant to be kissing for the rest of my life. The perfect kiss. I woke up sad because I wanted to know this person. I truly wanted to know him. We had laughed and had what seemed like a lifetimes worth of fun in just one dream. I even tried to go back to the dream. I closed my eyes and pictured the place but he wasn't there anymore. Normally I can go right back into a dream. A trick that I love because my dreams are better than watching a movie sometimes. I was just wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience? It seemed so real though I knew it wasn't. So hard to explain but this is the best I can do.

      Welcome, Haildanielle!

So, the question is how to summon the man in a dream so you can be with him again? Use commands like you did in this dream. Intend for him to appear and know that the dream will grant your wish because the dream is coming from you.

If the question is whether it is normal to fall in love with a dream character, I think it is normal.
