I've made a free app for Lucid Dreaming.

Hello!

You don't need to download anything! It's just on the web.

It works like this: when you hear the voice of the the app encouraging you to become lucid while you sleep - you can become lucid

it's quite similar to the REM Dreamer glasses but it's totally free

"External world stimuli are transferred to the world of your dreams, and it becomes easy to achieve lucidity."

Your App has real potential I think

I have used it a bit - especially when I know I am most likely in rem - after I have slept for about 6 hours - there are a couple of things that could make it great tho in my opinion ;

1. After Ugne's voice ( lovely voice by the way

has come on to let you know you are Lucid Dreaming a couple of times it would be good if you had the option to have it stop on its own - other wise it keeps on going and runs the risk of actually waking you up ...Actually both ways could work ; In a way it would be good if you have the option of letting it run and training ones self to switch it off and go back to the dream or having it stop after she has said it a couple of times ( like 5 - 10 times or so maybe)

2. Also would be great if its mentioned - doing a Reality Check in the bit that Ugne says - Maybe a command like - ' Do a Reality Check - You are Dreaming " or something like that

3. If it is that you managed to set it so that Ugne says the bit she says to get you Lucid a couple of times as I mentioned above - and then shut's off - it would be great if it would then automatically reset itself!
The reason is - if you are laying there still awake you don't have to move to reset it again and you can know you can go on relaxing and Ugne will be reminding you again in 10 minutes or so

Those are my main observations so far - I do like it and feel its one of the best apps around I have seen! Nice one , thanks !

Great! How about the automatic reset?

When I first got the app I could listen without the head phones but now it only plays through headphones....

Well, this new feature kinda acts as an automatic reset, you just need to set when you want it to reset after cues started.

And the headphones thing... Just try to refresh your browser or restart your PC or go to your playback device's settings and check there. There shouldn't be any that kind of probs.

Ok got it yes - resets itself back

Very good job! I used it this morning and found it most promising as it helped me a very short Wild and a handfull of FA - didnt recognise them but will once I get the hang of it will be fine!

I am gonna try to work with it consistantly so will let you know how it goes

Last night I couldn't get the app up at all - it was just a white screen. Anyway it gave me the opportunity to use a set of alarms pointed by another DV member who is experimenting with this kind of thing at the moment ( micro awakenings in the morning time when rem is most prevalent )

oh yes, I still cant get the voice without earphones too

Some more observations about the your wonderfull App

1. Would be great if the amount of time between the cues could be set in advance - and having the chance to program some different amounts of time between cues would be amazing ! ( at the moment after the initial setting it automatically resets to cue every 5 mins - this is ok but becomes too often and one starts to feel one wishes it was not every 5 mins

- to be able to experiment by putting in different sets of times that circle around helps a lot when experimentation

2. Would be great if one could have an option to cue in ones own voice! This would be pretty cool as it gives one a chance to set the cue with an anchor that one feels works well for oneself and I think doing this would really set it apart in its quality from other apps - but its probably not possible or is maybe an idea for another app

Hello Patience,

Thanks a lot for experimenting with my app!

The voice works well on my PC and my Android phone.

Are you using Chrome? Did you play with Audio settings on your PC? Could be wrong output device set or something like that.

Realised its when I took it on as an app on my home screen it stops all sound exept on head phones - so I bookmarked it instead and so far the sound is up and working again

Yes, i know that there are sound problems when adding a web app to the home screen..

Thank You all for your interest in my app, but it is gone now as I am completely focused on video games.

Maybe there are some other good apps for LD? Would like to try out
