Was that an accidentally performed DEILD?

      Hello,

Recently, I had a lucid dream and I woke up. Directly after awakening, I closed my eyes instantly and I firmly imagined the last scene of my dream without thinking of it before. I felt how my thought body turned into a body which feels real. Was that an accidentally performed DEILD? I was lucid after falling asleep

No, that was not an accidentally performed DEILD; it was a purposely performed DEILD! It sounds to me like you performed a textbook DEILD; nice work!

You don't have to remember the process's name to do the process... I for one was doing WILD's/DEILD's and DILD's for many years before I ever learned that the things I was doing had names...actually, I'm a little sad to say, they did not even have names for the first 20 years I was doing this stuff, because that was before LeBerge published EWOLD.

Hi Xorda! I have a lot of "unintentional" DEILDs when I stay still after waking from a dream, and start trying to reemember the dream in my mind, to prepare to record it. Sometimes, I will pop right back into a dream! Without having expected or directly intended it. In fact I don't think I ever DEILD on purpose. It just happens from the way i do dream recall.

So, I hope you enjoy many more "accidental" DEILDs! (If you want to) Its like... SURPRISE! You get to dream some more!

It's amazing that I accomplished that at my first time because I didn't know how to perform DEILD
