Question Not sure what to do

Well. Im not sure what to do. I just keep going but Ill tell you how it goes.

At first, I was really into LDing, I got an LD at 2nd day of trying and got a dozen LDs more after that, my recall was pretty good with 2/3 medium to long dreams a night and I got atleast 1 LD each week.
Now my recall went to 1-3 a night with mostly 1 tho and I LD about every 12 days I think, the LDs are also very short and Im not really present in them.

Even tho I am still doing everything the same as I used to and Im not losing intrest or anything.
Im not sure what to do or if you guys can even help me, but I guess I should just post this in case.

I think it may be that you need to try new things or change up somethings. In body building you need to change your workout every once in awhile to get best results. Also, lucid dreaming comes in waves and dry spells. I have been at this a very long time yet still have phases where I have far less lucids and am not very present in the ones I do have.
Peace Be With You. Oh, and sure, The Force too, why not.

This pretty much sums it up. Regardless of how consistent you are, there will be times where it seems like you're getting nowhere, which may lead to to think that you're doing something wrong. It happens to all of us, for various reasons.

All I can suggest to you is that you maintain a good sleeping pattern and keep doing the things that have worked for you, but it can't hurt to try to mix things up a bit. Do some research - see if you can try techniques that you haven't previously had much luck with. You can never know too much when it comes to dreams and the subconscious mind, so it's always good to broaden your understanding.

It sounds like these are still early days for you so don't let a few dry spells deter you. You CAN and WILL get good at this if you set your heart on it. Belief and intention plays a major role.

What kind of things do you do to ground yourself when you become lucid? And how are they normally induced? Something that has worked for me in the past was to try to simulate pain via hitting walls, slamming my body into things, etc. It sounds rather extreme but it would force me to focus on my dream body. You could scream something like "I will stay in this dream" while you're doing this. I found it would work wonders for me. I'd feel like I'd "locked into place" and that everything around me had become clearer and more present. Failing that, DEILD has saved me from many an early failure too and was always my panic button.

Let me know what you think

Good! Well all you're trying to do really is become more aware of your dream body and let go of all expectations of waking reality. That will help you stay in a dream longer.
