so i actually did the Phase technique without any alarms, but now I am incorporating alarms. I dont really agree with the cycling methods. I do a simple visualization while inducing the feeling of falling. You should easily feel or see the hypnagogic hallucinations if you are in the right mindset. You will immediately understand that you are about to transition because the hallucinations are insane. Theres no real way to emulate sleep, but you could try during daytime naps. |

Hypnotism might be a way to emulate sleep. A good hypnotist might be able to teach you how to hypnotize yourself. And there are Youtube videos, etc., on the topic. Haven't ever been able to do it myself, though I've never tried very hard. |
