Experiment: Successful Lucid Dream Message Passing

I've been hearing about this around and about. Apparently a message has been passed between two dreamers whilst they were in a state of lucidity. The experiment was carried out by California-based startup REMspace which designs technology for lucid dreaming and enhancing sleep. Using the technology, scientists were able to exchange one message between the two humans when they were asleep.

Anyone have thoughts on this? Imagine being such an epic lucid dreamer that you can send and recieve messages to other dreamers.

The claim is that the message was first stored on the server for 8 minutes, before the next person started dreaming and received the message - https://interestingengineering.com/s...eams-remspace:

When the server detected that the first participant entered a lucid dream, it generated a random Remmyo word and sent it to him via earbuds. The participant repeated the word in his dream, with his response captured and stored on the server.

The next participant entered a lucid dream eight minutes later and received the stored message from the first participant. She confirmed it after awakening, marking the first-ever “chat” exchanged in dreams.

That is even freakier, knowing a server possibly was a bridge between lucidly dreaming creatures.

Nothing 'freaky' about this, environmental stimulation and sound/voice almost always transfers over to dreams. But the whole 8 minute message passed and remembered, that's a big deal.

Anytime someone successfully probes into someone else's dreamland, especially scientifically, it's freaky.
