The first time this happened was last night, and it seriously owned. It was similar to WILD, but there were some differences. To make it clear, technically I was not lucid, but I did have wonderful control.

At about 3:30 AM I was sleeping in my bed and laying still. Then I started getting dizzy twice as if I was about to go out of body. I believe sleep paralysis set in, but not the worst I've experienced. My breathing did not clamp down, but several times I wanted to move my arms and I barely did.

I had heavy hypnagogic images, and I felt strong vibrations, but they were not uniform. The electric vibrations were hitting me like raindrops, all over and localized. From there, my mind was still going. After a couple of thoughts, my dream would pickup starting from these thoughts.

For example, my wandering train of thoughts remembered the post about the Oil Depot on fire in London. Almost instantly a dream started where I see a large ship at sea. Then, coming from the back of the boat is a tornado that is black as burnt popcorn. The tornado goes all the way to the front of the ship, in the process starting a fire. There was oil underneath the deck, and it further ignited sending the flames rather high.

The dream was almost working backwards, like a normal dictionary. Such a wonderful opportunity to learn some vocabulary. Unfortunately, I did not realize it was happening until it was done. I'm starting to daydream like that, where my thoughts turn into animated pictures. There was at least eight dream scenes, all corresponding to different thoughts. Several times I remember wondering if I was sleeping on my stomach or my back. Rolling over is what stopped the interaction between my mind and I.

In hindsight, I have so many things I would like to trigger dreams, but instead I spent some of this time fantasizing. Grr...There will be a next time though, others should do this too. It looks like an exciting new area to explore..
