      lil problem

      so here i am typing away on my laptop at fockin 4 14 am coz i cant get to sleep.... nd ye i tried all my bloody calming/meditation exercises nd nothing is working. However this is not is what is worrying me most. More and more i am finding it harder to distinguish between dreams, lucid dreams, real life and fiction that i have read and stuff that i just think about in the day (i think this has sumthing to do with me not been able to get to sleep). Now i dont mean i am confused with every dream or that when i am eating my breakfast i think i am dreaming and try and fashion me a beautifull beach in the kitchen but now nd then i cant work our if what i am remembering is real or not. Its not major stuff just things like 'did i have that conversation' or 'is this story real or did i dream about it'? ny thoughts nd how to solve this appart from a dream diary?

      Do you do drugs? Woudl you consider yourslef mentlay unstable? Perhaps you should see a doctor.

      How much sleep do you normally get? Do you have chronic insomnia?

      If it's just recent, wait it out and see what happens. But it's advisable to search for help, like a session with a physician or a counselor. But still, if it's only recent, I wouldn't worry abotu it. I often have times where I confuse dreams and memories and stuff like that.

      Calming meditations and such are disadvantageous when your mind is running a bit too rampant, because it focuses that frenzy inward, making it worse. Going for a walk is pretty relaxing, try that.

      no i dont take drugs, id say i am pretty solidly grounded mentaly, i dont have cronic insomnia. now it is the hollidays i normally get about 10 hours sleep. Dint get to sleep unitll arround 5 am last night ( i gues) and i got up at 12 and i dont feel too bad. Ye i think il try your sugestion AirRick if it happens again and start taking a very detailed Dreaj Journal so i can always check if it gets too wierd.
