      The First Night

      Tonight will be my first attempt at Lucid Dreaming...

      I have great dream recall, and I am going to attempt VILD tonight due to that exact reason. from what I read VILD seems the most simple so I'm going to attempt it.

      Any tips on VILD would really help.

      Dude you don't need an extra thread so people give you specific 'tips'. All the information and tips are out there in the VILD threads, in the Wikibook and so on. Besides 'tips' won't help you, you just need to practice and keep a low level of expectancy. Not every technique works for everybody and VILD is surely not the method that works perfectly for most. If you understand the technique, just play it through in your head and you can then focus on other things until you're actually doing the technique. Without practical experiences or problems, 'tips' are useless.
