I have been reading a lot lately on the often ignored uses of commonly occurring herbs for all sorts of ailments and health-supplements--herbs and plants that have been used for thousands of years and have only recently been written off as "folk-lore" and "fairy tales". Is anyone here knowledgeable on herbology or traditional medicine? I would be most interested in discussing the topic further. |

Could you elaborate a bit more on your shamanic knowledge, i.e. from whence it came (did you have some kind of teacher or were you apprenticed in some fashion), interesting shamanic experiences, etc. I am currently reading a series of books written by Carlos Castaneda describing his ten year long apprenticeship to a Yaqui (toltec) "sorcerer" (shaman)..It is all completely fascinating. |

A few years ago I was like you. I had found a great interest in the many things that plants, the mind, and the body have to offer. So I went about researching and experimenting, Going through rituals documented by native peoples from around the world, and even absorbing a few of the newer ideals. |

I haven't yet tried the herbs listed here for dreaming. There is much information on tryptophan in foods and other biochemicals that you might want to check out. |

Are you dreaming now?
