Thread: the ultimate lucid dream

A drug with that capability would never be legalized. A drug that makes you mellow and with the munchies is illigal. There are drugs out there that are close to making you believe everything is a dream.

But if all that was aside, even with my own personal anti-drug usage standpoint, I would try if that was the only effect. Just lucidity and no other effects.

Yeah but that kind of drug would be I think very addictive. I would take it every night...

there is a sticky at the top (last lucid dream) which is dedicated to the topic, and although it doesn't explicitly assume complete control, most answers take that for granted.

My ultimate dream would not be flying, floating, or fornication. I find the real answer to a question that everyone has, but I will keep this question to myself in the hope that it will happen.

welll i actually have a few things that i would do but one of the number one things i would do is be a "GOD" i would create my own world my own humans and then watch it grown over billions of years .

but the one that blows minds just to think about it my exact opposite idea

not like the opposite of a square is a circle or that but just like there is an inside and an outside to things we know what the circle looks like but what does the outside look like what shape is it

if that does not confuse you then i did not explain it right

i've contemplated that on a number of occasions. it is indeed mind-expansive. or try to visualize a circle and 'turn it inside out'.

once, an hour or so after imbibing a mushroom/cannabis elixer, i laid down on my back in the dark. gradually my proprioreception (awareness of the position of my body) was not longer centered on my folded up pentagram, but i felt as if i was a sphere.

or rather, two separate spheres were interacting with each other 'inside me' which is what created myself as a whole. in the center of myself the two spheres were joined at a narrow spherical 'bottleneck' of sorts. the two sides were turning themselves inside out over and over again in a slow, achingly beautiful rhythm.

the closest 3-D animation i have seen that is vaguely similar (though still nowhere near to the real thing) is http://www.theresonanceproject.org/research/torus.htm

only after what seemed like an eternity (probably close to an hour) did i realize that the rhythm was a visual manifestation of the tides of my breath. it was as if "i" was the breathing process as a whole, and was watching (and feeling), the inside-out, dynamic interchange between the morphing spheres, which continually transformed into one another through the central bottleneck.

in and out, left and right, up and down, manifested matter and invisible energy, infinity and the finity...it was all symbolically present.

twas the most indescribable experience of my life. . it changed the extent of my wonder at relation, harmonics, cycles.

just in case you give two shits words truly cannot begin to do it justice...
