      Dream Journals

When I wake up, I usually fill in a skeleton of my dream in an actual journal before I go to school. Later, when I get home, I completely fill it in on my computer in a file. I find that by doing this I remember the dream more often throughout the day and I'm also able to put more time into actually writing it down.

Does anyone else do something similiar to this?

My method is when I wake from a dream; I sit up, turn on my lamp and get out my Dream Journal and pen. I sit for a few minutes while reflecting on the dream and what it could possibly mean.

After I have assessed the dream, I continue to write it down.

      Simple, but effective.

I write the main story of the dream, and any detals that I can only just remember, and perhaps a picure or two to jog my memory when I fill it in on DV. I try to figure out what mood I was in during the dream.

Yup, I do the same thing almost. When I wake up, I scribble down a few keywords and sentences on a scrap piece of paper. Then later in the morning, or after work, I sit down at my computer and enter in the entire detailed dream in my DJ which is a Word document on my computer.

Then i go through the dream, and pick out dreamsigns and categorize them. I also try to add interpretations if I can, to help remind myself later why I might have dreamed that particular dream.

As soon as I wake up, I will lay with my eyes closed and recall as much of the dream as I can remember. This helps you to remember a lot more because as soon as you open your eyes, your brain starts to absorb information about your surroundings and you will start thinking about the day ahead of you. This was a tip on a lucid dreaming website.

I think Im gonna try to start doing this. It really wouldnt hurt anything for me to try to be more organized and detailed.
