My method is when I wake from a dream; I sit up, turn on my lamp and get out my Dream Journal and pen. I sit for a few minutes while reflecting on the dream and what it could possibly mean. |

When I wake up, I usually fill in a skeleton of my dream in an actual journal before I go to school. Later, when I get home, I completely fill it in on my computer in a file. I find that by doing this I remember the dream more often throughout the day and I'm also able to put more time into actually writing it down. |

As soon as I wake up, I will lay with my eyes closed and recall as much of the dream as I can remember. This helps you to remember a lot more because as soon as you open your eyes, your brain starts to absorb information about your surroundings and you will start thinking about the day ahead of you. This was a tip on a lucid dreaming website. |
