      Am I getting better?

In all honesty, I haven't been trying lately to have an LD, I've had finals on my mind for the past 2 weeks (2 weeks ago was about when I found this site)...

But recently I've been able to remember dreams better. Usually before that it was I'd usually remember atleast one dream, but now everyday I can recall a dream, and now sometimes I can remember two of them.

Last night though, was significant. I sort of had an LD... I knew I was dreaming, but I didn't really feel controlling it, I just let it go on. Then I had another dream in the morning, which I could recall clearly. Then... I self induced SP willingly! For the first time ever in my life! All my other SPs were unwillingly, they were by accident. And then during this SP I had a partial OBE, I think I got half my body out for about 1-2 seconds, again, my first OBE I can recall in my life willingly (I've had one or two accidentals when I was young).

I don't know, I think it may be this site. Maybe just having LDs and OBEs on my mind when I go to sleep?

But the thing is, I'm not really focusing on this throughout the day. I may think of it once in a while, but its not until I got to sleep that I really start to think about them.

That right there is an indicator that your LD skills are improving. Dream Recall is essentially the step to improving your LD's and being able to do them more frequently. Keep working at it, I'm also trying to improve on my ability to LD

It's odd though, my dream recall has gotten better without really any effort.

I'm pretty psyched. I hope I can get this SP thing down every morning, then I can LD or OBE everyday. It really wasn't hard at all.

By the way, do LDs and OBEs have the same entry feeling. I was feeling some insane vibrations during the SP. I didn't know where it was going, it eventually led to a very short OBE.

It was like this. I saw flashes, and I was pretty much watching a movie in my head (based of a movie I've seen before, I was viewing it all from 3rd person). It was all clear, funny, and I could hear it. The whole time though I was aware that I had awoken recently, and that I was laying down, so I knew exactly what was going on at the same time. Then at some point, I thought, maybe I can induce SP, and so I "cancel" my dream, and its just blackness, and I feel really light, like air, and I'm in SP because I couldn't move! I knew that feeling all to well from the SP experiences I've had before. So, I'm just there, and I get scared alittle, but I think, no I'm not going to experience the hag, I made this SP happen, I'm in complete control of it. So I think to myself, time to either LD or OBE, whichever comes I'll take...

And at that moment I start feeling some really, really intense vibrations.

Those I weren't ready for, and that's why my experience was so short. It was like super fuzzy electricity was bouncing up up and down in my body and in my ears I was hearing it as well, best I could describe the sound, is as "zzzZZZzzzZZZzzzZZZzzzZZZzzz." It was such a weird/amazing/scary feeling. It's a sensation I've never experienced while awake, ever, nothing comes even close, not even being really drunk. Next time I'll be prepared for it.

By the way, when I "canceled" the dream, I think I was lucky, because I didn't realize my body fell asleep, is there any way to tell, because I don't want to cancel them to early, and not be in SP.
