Thread: Just a thought. (related to adoptions)

I have just asked ShadowNightWing to adopt me. He is much more experienced at everything in and out of the dreamworld...and also in life, than me. I am taking humility under my wing, and saying that i need help to achieve the levels of lucidity i want too. Me and him really get along, and he is a great guy when it boils down to a friendship, and he knows SO MUCH about dreaming, and everything else.

Now that i have justified why i have become adopted i would like to propose something:
I suggest that everyone here be adopted by someone, even if it is unofficial. Someone to be accountable too, in and out of dreaming. Take this from a perspective of life. No one will be 'all knowing' in the ways of life, and will never be perfect; we always need mentors in life to help us. We will always need mentors in dreaming to help us.

I encourage everyone to find an 'accountability partner' or a mentor, to help you achieve lucidity levels...you can even make it unofficial. I really like everyone here, and i want to see you guys further your goals of lucidity and anything else...even in areas outside of dreaming.

Does everyone think this is a good idea?

Just kidding, but if I were to be adopted by someone it would probably be him. Too bad I'm a loner...

I'm not not adopting anymore just yet. Hopefully, if things in my personal life get straightened out soon I can take on a few more. But *sigh* not just yet.

Of course, in a few months, you will probably have noobs of your own to help along!

Heh. Anyway, I like this adoption thing. Because Beserk asked me specfically to, I adopted him. Yay.

Lowercase, your idea is great. Everyone needs someone! I think if everyone could find someone here to be a friend/mentor that's great! There are so many people here that I still don't know well and the adoption thing was a great idea! Since i am adopted i recoment it! If nothing else you'll have a friend!

Heh, i've been helping someone over MSN who got sleep paralysis and found dreamviews, but instead of registering he(?) decided to find a member with MSN and ask it trough that lol.
