Lucid dreams are actually much more common during naps than they are on a usual sleep cycle at night. |

Lately I've been falling asleep during day because I couldn't really sleep at night (because of exams maybe...). I actually slept for like about four hours a day (ehm I mean night this time) and I still had 3-4 dreams a night + lucid dreams. |

I can because I know I can.

Of course you can have lucid dreams during the day. I have the large majority of my LDs when I nap during the day. Also, if you aren't getting much sleep at night then your body makes up for the lost REM time the next time you sleep, whether it's during the night or day. |

It's because of your inner clock and sleep cycles. If you go to bed after 14-16 hours or so, it will be about night and your subconscious will start the night-sleep program. This program goes right into the deepest stages of sleep without much REM for the first few hours. |

Korittke: thank you for the information. I didn't know that. Well, I mean I didn't know that while sleeping during day I would go directly to REM sleep. |
