      working time to think

      So im about to start work. I was really really stressed because its construction work, and its quite intense. But then i realized, I'm going to be outside for 10 hours each day with nothing to think about. I can think about lucid dreaming the whole day and not be taking away from anything (i.e. no schoolwork to study and concentrate on). Its just hard work, but it doesn't necessarily take a lot of thinking... so im excited now.

      Has anyone had a similar experience, that has been positive?


      If its a negative experience please don't post it. I think just the positive attitude will help to induce a lucid.

      I work in a restaurant and find that during some of the basic prep work my mind can wander. People will catch me daydreaming while chopping things with the blade millimeters from my fingers, hah. I like that part of the day because it gives me some time to think, but it's reduced by the more in depth cooking and totally eradicated during the line cooking.

      I've never done construction work, but I used to work in a propane plant doing stupid mind numbing grunt work, but I got a lot of thinking out of the way. I'm sure it will be similar to that.
