It's starting to get warmer, so i kicked one of my 3 blankets on the floor. The next morning i had 2 lucid dreams.... my first in about 2 months. It was a Saturday though so i got to sleep in... maybe that helped too. |

How is anyone able to reply to that? You need to be less general. Is this a lucidity aid? What are you trying to say? |

It might help... |

If I hadn't made me
I'd be more inclined to bow
Powers that be would have swallowed me up
But that's more than I can allow...

Well... i'm pretty sure that having 2 blankets on didn't give me a lucid dream... but (for those of you who'd like more info) i've been using 3 blankets for about 3 months, and maybe the change somehow triggered something in my dream to make my realize something was wrong |

I believe that Heat induces Lucidity to a certain degree. Just by past research I've done on myself I was more likely to go Lucid without the use of MILDS by making the room hotter. Usually covering myself with serval comforters. |
|
Yea your physical sleeping enviornment definitely affects your dreaming. I don't know about specific temperatures that let you get LD more often though. I personally think the temperature issue is very subjective. |
|
I'm using 2-3 blankets and sleep in a very cold room. I havent noticed any significant differences in getting a LD.... However I absolutely cant fall asleep if room temperature is above certain point.. |
|
my room stays about a constant 100 degrees or so (i live in Vegas)...if it is ever cold, i can never remember any of my dreams... |
|
Well I have been sleeping with a heating blanket for a few months now and it broke last week! |

Its not really that bad, even without AC you could open a window at night and its a lot cooler. Unless you turn on the heat just to make your room hot, in which case your crazy. |
|
Your temperature definately affects your dreams. A while ago one of my friends tried sleeping with a heat bag on his feet, and his dreams got a long more vivid, and he remembered more of them. I also remember hearing somewhere on here that heat can also induce nightmares, so whenever I start to overheat I just kick off a few blankets. Huh, btw I started sleeping with fewer blankets a while ago, and I just had another LD, but I'm not sure if there's a connection or not. |
|
Yep, this temperature thing is really subjective. Some people LD better when they are warmer and others, when cooler. I guess we have to try it out ourselves. |

omg I clipped my toenails 1 night and then I had a lucid dream!!11 maybe it was somehow linked!!1one |

Ignorant bliss is an oxymoron; but so is miserable truth.
Wow! but I don't have lucid dreams every night like some people |

You do know she was being sarcastic, right? |
