Clearing up the "we only use 10% of our brains myth&

If any one of us could only use 10% of our brains at any given time, we would either be in a vegitative state or we would be severely mentally challenged. We humans, whether you want to believe it or not, use the entirety of our brains, just we never use it all at once. We use certain parts at one time. But most people throughout a single day use all of their brains. People merely came up with this 10% myth to explain the unexpunexplainable like psychic powers. I do believe in certain psychic abilities because I have seen them first hand. But people do not have these abilities because they have unlocked more of their brain than anybody else. Maybe they're brains are structured differently, maybe there is some kind of mutation going on signaling the next stage in evolution that is causing certain people to be able to perform these phenomenom. But, normal people, definitely use the same amount of their brains, the whole, 100%... I'm only posting this because I've seen a few people speak of this 10% myth... Just wanted to clear it up...

I wouldn't really call it using 100% if parts of our brain are capable of doing things that we don't know of. Maybe 100% of the brains parts are in use, but that does not mean each part may only have one specific task. I don't know, I don't really know what I'm talking about

But I agree, 10% is ridiculous, I'd estimate we atleast use 75% of it's abilties.

Why don't we just ask a brain how much it uses?

      Hold on, I'll ask mine...

      He says he doesn't know.

      Wait... Oh snap.

Well, I'm sure using more of my brain than I normally do because I'm thinking about this myth. It hurts.

I think the 10% myth originated because a while ago(60s?) Scientists started stimulating small parts of the brain with electrical impulses and an arm would move or something like that, so they were like, "wow if we can do this much with just that, then we must only use only a small part of our brains"
