My "as a kid repeating nightmares":

My dad and I are in a traffic jam because there is a machine that eats cars in the middle of the highway. All the kids have to get out of the cars and fend for themselves while the parents go into battle with the machine. We usually group together, and find a good hiding spot.

I'm in a little town, and a T-Rex is scheduled to come. Everyone has a safe spot: the little kids are in this bubble and the adults go into the buildings, but the kids my age have no safe place, and have to run away from the T-Rex with no shelter.

I go downstairs to my basement (a scary place to begin with) and go to the laundry room, and down the laundry shute come hamburger buns, but they look like monkey mouths, and they begin floating and chomping at me.

My recent repeating nightmares:

A huge rat comes down my street and I have to hide from it (do you see a repeating theme?)

I'm in my house being chased by someone, and every single door and drawer goes to a staircase, and opens into another door or cabinet or drawer. If I get cornered into my room, I can just hop into my closet, and end up in a kitchen cabinet
