Thumbs up

Hey,
I've been keeping a dream journal for a few nights now
and my dream recall has improved so much.. Mostly
I now remember 3 a night or more.

My problem is with how clear the dreams are. I can always
tell the short story of the dream and write it down. But i never
feel like the dream ever actually happened to me :S strange i know.

They feel so far and distant it's like my brain can't concentrate to
be more involved in the dream. I'm worried that if my brain can't
start properly experiencing vivid dreams then it won't be aware enough
to ever become lucid... Can anyone help?

Thankyouu

Maybe it's worth giving vitamin B6 a try?

Funny you should say that...
About a year ago i had to take vitamin B6 to ward
away mosquitos in africa, hmm...

To add on what i was saying it seems as if my dream
recall has increased at the expense of my actual vividness
decreasing. Well thankyou anyway, I do still have some B6
left over!

For the first time, I feel that I am the PERFECT candidate to give suggestions and hope.

My progress is maybe just one step ahead of you. When I first started my DJ a few months ago, I would remember quite a number of dreams in some detail, but, like you, they would be distant. I would have to lie there focusing until some fragment came, then I worked backwards. It never felt like it happened. It seemed like I couldn't prioritize my dreams, so they all suffered.

Now after a few months when I wake up it feels like I just stepped out of my dream into my bed. All I've really done was keep a journal and did some mnemonic techniques.

Another thing that may help, a tip that I read recently on this board (Sorry, I forget who mentioned this. If it‘s you, please take credit)… While lying in bed before you try and go to sleep, relive your day by working it backwards in your head. Try to recall every detail of the day. It will be easier to remember in detail things that you actually did rather than dream scenarios. This will help train your brain to remember details. Also, of course, stop and take in the beauty of real life once in a while. This is a good idea beyond dreaming.

Don't worry about it, my dreams weren't that vivid at first, but mine became better after time.

Same here, although my dreams still aren't that vivid, they just used to be way worse.

How long have you been keeping your dj? It takes a little while... I'd support staying with the dj a while before introducing vitamins and such. (I'm not a purist against vitamins, I'd just want to know where the dj will go before throwing in another factor.)
The new evolutionary paradigm will give us the human traits of truth, of loyalty, of justice, of freedom. These will be the manifestations of the new evolution. And that is what we would hope to see from this. That would be nice.

Thanks so much for the feedback guys.

I just needed somebody to tell me that the vividness
will increase over time. Basically I'm a case of rushing
in too fast.. I'm glad that eventually the dreams may
be crystal clear

And i'm becoming a keen Dream Journalist (just on my notepad)
so i will keep this up.

Thanks everyone
