I think everybody should be reading and thinking about this guy's thread. It's kind of in an obscure forum, so not many people know about it, or check it out. It's all about the practical uses for LD.

Every person on earth sleeps for 1/3 of their life. By coming to this site, you are choosing to LIVE 1/3 longer than other people. I want to hear from YOU! What practical skill would you learn if you could control your dreams?

Here's one I'd like to propose for men: meeting women!

I was dreaming last night that I was at the bank, applying for a loan from the bank. The teller was some cute girl who was busting all sorts of jokes, and giving me great advice for how to get credit (the dream wasn't as boring as it sounds, since she was cute).

Then, I realized that I should totally ask her out. I turned my head away, since I was so nervous I could only look at her out of the corner of my eye. I said, almost whispering so the person next to us wouldn't hear: "does your company have a policy against you giving out your home phone number?" She said they didn't, I was about to hand her a pen or a cell phone (I still hadn't decided which) when I woke up. But I knew I was in with this chick. I wasn't lucid, but who cares!

The night before this, I had a dream entirely in French. In the dream I was in a French boulangerie and I mispronounced a word (for idee I said ee-dee). A French kid actually came up to me, in my dream, and corrected my pronounciation (ee-day). I could feel my French visibly improving.

My point is this, I've been attempting to lucid dream for a year, and already I'm 1. improving my French, 2. learning to overcome my (profound) fear of approaching women, 3. learning to LD!

Why aren't people talking more about these immense possibilities?

I want to know, I want to hear from YOU. What practical things do you do in your dreams? What would you like to do or learn?

I'm looking forward to reading your thoughts.
