Blue Meanie, do you have any tips on getting past this point in a WILD?

The dream snaps into 3D in front of me, which is serious jolt, and then it becomes really unstable (probably because I'm kind of freaking out).

I know I need to reality check to stabilize the dream, but I'm scared to move my hands or look around in case I move physically and wake myself up. Normally I wake up anyway.

I'd really appreciate any ideas you have...

Sorry it's taken me so long to reply...

Ehrm.... I wish I could help, and give some tips... but the problem with the transition is that it's different for everybody, I think. For me, it either happens or it doesn't, and it's like rising up from my bed into a dream version of my bedroom... nbothing really "snaps" into perfect 3D... it just sort of... morphs into it.

As for reality checking to stabalise, I found in my LDs that it's better to grab onto something and stare at my hand for a few seconds. I say grab onto something, because in quite a few of my dreams, I get what Amethyst Star (and I) call Drunken Walls Syndrome... the walls like... wobble, and are all drunk. It's weird. But, usually I have to hold onto a desk or something so that a wall doesn't come out and hit me. Cos if the walls hit me I wake up.
