Have you tested this many times. I believe that if you do this and get a lucid dream. The reason why is just because you know you will. Similar to Placebo affect

For example one group of people (group A) are not given any medicine to recover from a cold.
one group of people (group B) are given a pill containing only sugar.

On average group B say they got better quicker than group A

it is alot like the wbtb method but has anyone read what to do for wbtb? you are supposed to stay up for an hour. He doesnt want you to stay up for an hour just for a couple of min. its alot different when u think about it. wbtb you become wide awake, where this method you are still half asleep.

I understand what you mean Dreamcatcher NYC

ive been doing something similar and it works well sometimes

i do your method unintentionally thoughh
      for example:

i stay up late doing homework
i wake up at 6 to get ready for school (which is the task that requires brain work)
then i lay down a bit before i walk to school
but i end up not going because of lack of motivation and also because i hate school and decide to just lay there for a bit longer

      then crazy crap happends

      EDIT:
oh yeahh i forgot my main point

i think the rest of you are trying to hard
if you tell yourself "ohh tomorow morning im gonna wake up extra early and do this" then your body will actually be fully wake

it happends to me when i unintentionally do it
My goal in life is to one day ride an armored giraffe into the sunset.

It's not his method, its a widely known WBTB method restated.

Dream Catcher NYC, maybe you shouldn't put "In depth perception by the dream master"

      85% without any doubt[/b]
      --> doubt = 15%

The new evolutionary paradigm will give us the human traits of truth, of loyalty, of justice, of freedom. These will be the manifestations of the new evolution. And that is what we would hope to see from this. That would be nice.

Hmm, maybe it would work better if I do the mechanical task for a shorter amount of time?

The WILD tutorial suggests that you stay awake for 60 - 90 mins. After getting up and eating, I'm probably only playing piano for 30 - 40 mins in total... ??

No no no, its Master DILDer . Its kind of an oxymoron isnt it? You don't really need skill or anything to DILD.

      Correct me if I'm wrong.

(I meant to change it but I thought it was only ld4all.com that allowed custom titles, me so confused&#33

Gotta correct you on that one.

The most effective way to DILD is by dream sign recognition, which can be developed just as any other skill can. Those with a poor ability to recognize a dream as a dream, while dreaming, are less likely to experience a DILD...as redundant as that sounds.

Yeah, as Oneironaut said, there is definitely skill involved, to some extent.

      Oh, thanks for the correction.

When I DILD I never really do RC checks (other than last night because I had never taken a breath through my fingers before) I just know the feeling of a dream so I guess you guys are right.

      Neat

Although self-proclaimed, I guess you are (somewhat of) a DILD master ;O

The basic premise of this is just wake up. I do this every night (with no alarm), winging the time. I dont even perform a task or anything. And I'm 85% garanteed that I'll dream or LD, remembered or not. The largest REM cycles take place after you wake up from a resting sleep. I had my first LDs and many many dreams from doing this.
An Idea. A single idea from the human mind can build cities. An idea can transform the world and rewrite all the rules.

      DEILD: 3
      DILD: 1

Not nearly as much as ... ugh ... I forgot his name and can't find where he posted. Well he had 44 DILDs or so in a short amount of time. He is the true master.

That's simular to what I have done. I wake up everynight (with no alarm also) and don't preform a task, and sometimes to help, I fall asleep saying "I'm dreaming" over and over.

I noticed when I say something like that it helps a lot more.
