I had 2 dreams lastnight where I was able to control my environment as if I was lucid. I made certain things appear in my hand and I knew I was doing it with though. I also made a bunch of lockers open at the same time with thought. However, I never knew I was dreaming. It was kind of odd but I felt like I was lucid or on the verge of being lucid and I didnt know it until I woke up. Has anyone ever experienced this?

Yes, definitely. It's quite common, actually.

Lucidity and control aren't dependent on each other. So just like you had control but weren't lucid, you could be lucid and have no control. Of course our goal is having both at the same time!

Though having control is a good way to become lucid. I've had dreams where I've had control of things like that which made me very suspicious that I was dreaming, and BOOM, I was lucid.

      How clear was everything?

Did it feel like a dream or did it feel real?

Heh, this happens to me sometimes. Most of the time I just think, "Hey cool, I never knew I could do such and such, that's handy!" It's not usually big things though, it's usually something like I find that I can jump really high or run really fast. Or that I can breathe underwater, but I don't know if that counts as dream control.

This also tends to happen to people after they lose lucidity. They remember that they can fly and hurl fireballs and whatnot, but they forget that the reason is because they're dreaming.

Well I didnt know that I was dreaming so I guess it felt real. If you meant to ask how vivid it was; it more vivid than most but not so vivid that I had a "wow" awakening.

For some reason, I never thought of the two being separate. I guess having both is what we are ultimately seeking. Though, I think I would rather have non-lucid control vs. lucidity without control.
