I don't know what it is, but I think this is going to take me some time.

Just wanted to say that I was inside of a 3 dimensional video game last night, it was something like Galactica in a sense...if that wasn't enough of a reality check in itself, I don't know what is.

I was slightly intoxicated, maybe this has to do with it, but for some reason I am simply believing everything which is thrown at me.

But, maybe it was only believable because I actually had a controller in my hand...

I know EXACTLY how you feel. It's very annoying isn't it? How you just keep getting so much closer to lucidity, but not enough - you still believe all your dreams and never think that they could be fake!

However, the controller may have changed your ways of thinking, so it can't be that bad - don't put yourself down. You might have been dreaming about what it's like to get sucked into a videogame, you might play them a lot to understand that already.

I feel that I'm in the same situation as you - not being able to recognise (that it's) a dream when you are experiencing one. What I'm doing is having chocolate. (I know that probably won't help neither of us...) Yeah, nah what I'm doing is questioning myself constantly in the waking world. Like whenever I'm near my dream signs or strange/new situations, I question myself whether it's a dream or not. I do a reality check too. I'm slowly getting there...

Hope that helps. What do you mean by, "I was slightly intoxicated"? You had alcohol?

I find that so annoying. Even once you've had many lucid dreams, it still happens.

I had a false awakening the other night, and there was a little guy (like an elf) packing all my stuff into boxes. Like you said Dream Sailor, if this isn't a sign you are dreaming, what is?

Vaguely in the back of my mind, I'm thinking: "Are you sure this is not a dream?". So I look at my hands for a moment, but they look fine, so I'm like: "Nah, this is real" and carry on through the dream.

When I woke up I felt like punching myself. lol

It sounds like you have some pretty cool dreams though, so keep at it!

Guys, I succeeded with MULTIPLES last night! I'm starting a thread right now.

By "slightly intoxicated" the other night, I meant I had five beers in me. Not this time though.

      Yes, yes...horrible.

Now, are we beginning the mission to stop all of this dreaming idiocy right now or what!?
