i cam eup with an interesting theory the other day.

say everyone has 5 dreams a night, every night.

also, assuem that the majority of the population also usually remembers a total of 0 to 1 of their dreams per night

some people dont remember dreams for years at a time

with this said, i believe that everyoen has had multiple lucid dreasm throuought their life time, in one of their dreams they either have, or have nto remembered. Probably that they have not remembered, becasue its a 4 ou of 5 chance that they wont

also, since lucid dreams are only fun if you can remember them, how can a memory be fun?

im not criticising the idea of lding, i personally love it. But i somebody has 5 lds a night adn jsut dont remember them, whats the point?

and if you do remember them, you can remember for example, flying, but you cant remember the adrenaline rush you get from it, or the speeding sensation.. you may remember scenery whizzing by, but not the actualy speed

anybody else know what im saying if theyve bothered to read my banter?
*note*^ the above comment was not meant to be hurtful, nor insulting. It is just another of my cynnical observations of fact. If you happened to be offended by my logic, too bad.

and the pill that your mother gave you
      doesn't do anything at all

When they come for me i'll be sitting at my desk with a gun in my hand wearin a bullet proof vest
singin my my my how the time does fly when yo know your gonna die by the end of the night

that is why we have dream recall. the best way i found is useing a dream jornal. With useing a dream jornal i have slowly but surely gotten more out of my dreams Before i started useing a dream jornal i could remember about 1 dream a month. then i got better and better and now i can even taste in my dreams.

I've thought about this, but I don't think you have to look at it as "since lucid dreams are only fun if you can remember them, how can a memory be fun?" It's not like the memory is what makes the lucid dream fun (although it's what makes you appreciate it later on), even if you don't remember it you still experienced it at the time. You also said: "and if you do remember them, you can remember for example, flying, but you cant remember the adrenaline rush you get from it, or the speeding sensation.. you may remember scenery whizzing by, but not the actualy speed", and that's sort of the whole 'problem' with LDing. Some people feel that it's just a memory, not like it's actually been lived. But isn't everything else like that too once it's over? Does that make it worth doing or not? I guess that's the reason some people don't want to put in the work to have lucid dreams, they consider the reward to just be a memory rather than an experience.

As waves of plastic fame go out of fashion, You're going out (going out) forever unknown. These waves of plastic fame go out of fashion, You're going out (going out) forever unknown.

From above a rain of ashes descends anathema. I will remain, forever will remain. From below, in my seclusion, look up to the sky to see See paper wings and watch them burn.

      I bet you're right.

I've barely remembered some of my lucids. I'm sure I've had hundreds that I forgot thruout my life. So probably everybody has. That means dream recall is really important.

Well Lucid dreaming is a very unique experience for the individual. Regardless of remembering the dream years later or not but I bet you this. If the experience is mind blowing I’m pretty sure you will never forget it the rest of your life. It would ultimately be imprinted on your Psyche for time indefinite. However that's the beauty of it because experience differs for each person my experience in the Lucid Dream will be different than your's and vice versa.
