      DREAM LEARNING?

Learning facts, practicing sports, or activating the stuff that you photoread while you dream. How is it done?

      Welcome to Dreamviews! :aphiusisonecrazySOB:

You just practice it in your dream. since it is a dream, you can imagine all the equipment you need their. but you'd need to remember not to cheat yourself into being better in the dream world.

With all the exposure you've had of the world ever since birth, I would say buried facts are easily retrieved in a lucid dream. I think we truly don't know how much knowledge we have in the back of our heads. (aka subconscious)

Hehe, at least you don't need to repeat your vocabulary words in your dream or anything to learn!

      HI UMJ!
I have read about this before. However the people that have done it have created such a high level of control in their Lucid dreams. One in wich I am dure took years of practice.
I read they create a "special room" in their mind during a Lucid dream. When they go to this room it is set aside for that purpose. What ever your pleasure may be golf ,chess, math, etc. I believe they sort of self hypnotise themselves to believe the room is what they want it to be.

No *shakes head* it's not hard. Judging from you alls answers I see that none of you know about photoreading. Then let me take this chance to educate you all on this powerful technique. Since you all can lucid dream I'm sure it will benefit you grately.

Photoreading allows you to read at 25,000 per minute. It does this by allowing you read with your subconcious mind and not your concious one.
You do this by following the four photoreading steps

1.)Prepare(1min): state your purpose for photoreading and enter the state of alert awareness.

2.)Preview(8min tops): Preview the material you are about to photoread and take out trigger words.

3.)Photoread: Enter the mental state of accelerated learning and then state your photoreading affirmations such as, "As I photoread my concentration is absolute." Then you diverge your eyes into photofocus and simply look at the pages as you turn them.

Now like much things that are in your subconcious mind you can't just go back there and get it. That is, unless you've reached a state of enlightenment (whatever that means to you) or are extremely skilled at photoreading. What you have to do is give your mind time to categorize the information for you. For your very first book that you photoread it should be 24 hours or one sleep cycle. Then your incubation time shoots up to 45 minutes. This leads to step four.

4.) Activation: You activate the material you photoread by simply being curious. After you have gotten your curiousity up you use certain techniques such as mind probing, super reading, dipping, and mindmapping.

When you first start photoreading you can read a book in about 1/3 the time it would regularly take you to read. After that, your belief increases and your time drops. There's also direct learning, the ability to increase ones skill in a certain subject simply through photoreading. I did a madden experiment with just photoreading faqs on madden and now I am madden godly. Paul Sheele talks about direct learning more in Genius code but alas, I haven't the money to buy it. I know that lucid dreaming is a part of it but everybody who has gone through the program are to busy being geniuses and beating people in shit to help me out.

I've been meessing around with unorthodox ways of activation and one that Paul Sheele talks about but does not get into is dream activation. That's why I came here talking about dream activation.
In anycase if anybody wants to know about photoreading they can go to learningstrategies.com or ask me about it. It's an extremely easy process that is bringing me a 36 on the ACT.

This is more of an information post to you all instead of me because today was devoted to learning as much about lucid dreaming as I can.
In doing this I went out and my friend hypnotise me into having a lucid dream tonight and although I may not be a female or extremely hypnotizable like the people in the Joe Dane experiment, I'm sure I'm going to have one tonight because believing is something gullable people like me can do.

I'll tell everybody about tomorrow of coarse.

Oh yeah Seeker I'm over here in the manner. Jeffery mannor. I can say the exact area I'm in because nobodies dumb enough to come over here.

DAMN! This was a long ass post. I always feel weird about posting shit this long cause I feel as if I'm just saying a whole bunch of shit that's not needed and nobody cares about it. But whatever.

      Welcome

I know what photoreading is. I have the audio CD set by that Sheele guy. I haven't gotten around to listening to the whole thing though.

      Learning facts[/b]
Can't say you'll have much success there with learning new things per se.

      practicing sports[/b]
That'll work for strategy and possibly help muscle memory a bit.

activating the stuff that you photoread while you dream.[/b]
I haven't listened to the whole course yet, but I noticed a dreaming part of it. I'll go check it out.

I could imagine that people can learn things through lucid dreaming. I have even heard that people can be healed through lucid dreaming... *takes down note* (my broken arm that will not move to 180 degrees...even though its almost been a year.)

And do you know a technique where I could play Chess at an eccelerated rate?
      +Golf - for my friend!!!!

Totally agree dude, I think everything is stored at some level in our brains, and Lucid dreaming unlocks a certain level of subconscious thought that can bring things to the fore in our minds that we otherwise would have 'forgotten'.

Photoreading depends on a consistent subject and consistent nouns; a consistent context. The dictionary is full of nouns and multiple different words followed by it's definition; there is no consistency. Photoreading the dictionary would only lead to your subconscious reading words you already know; nothing new. This is also why one of the first steps to photoreading involves getting to know the general context of the book.

I can give further explanation, but I believe it might be redundant.. that speaks for itself, right?[/url]

Do you or anyone else know if anyone can learn this tecnique?

It might be usefull for studying or something but I think (and heard) that once you do it you wont be able to read other things normally really and that reading a normal book just loses its immersion..

That is a good point. And that would be a terrible thing to lose. to lose yourself in a book.

I dug up this old post.
Because I have purchased some items from learning strategies, I am assuming this is why I received this photo reading seminar brochure in the mail from them.

I wanted to rehash the topic of photo reading. If it really does work.
Because so much of my reading is for informational reasons, this approach really seems attractive to me.

There is a photo reading seminar coming to Cleveland, where I live.
      The info is at Photoreading.com
They say class sizes are small, one on one instruction and a personal coach after the coarse.

And of coarse here is the kicker -= $750.00
Discounts if tuition is payed by July 30th

Is any one familiar with this.
      What are your thoughts?

Sounds pretty expensive. I'll try it myself right now. Lets see whether it really works.

I wish it were that fast.

Even if it does work It is a learning process from what I have read.
Maybe I will just quit work so I have time to read all the books, papers and magazines I have backed up.
