hey, im a semi-newbie Lucid Dreamer and i had a few questions for the seasoned "masters:"

      1) the only way i can induce a dream is by having it first, waking up, then going back into the dream- never loosing consiousness...

      2) The only reliable way for me to beome lucid has been to leave my beside lamp on...it wakes me up in the semi-asleep state, then i can go back into my dream lucid...

2.1) as ive been doing this, when i wake, i get TOO awake, because i get excited for my lucid dream that i then wont have.

      3) once in a while i will be dreaming, become lucid, then MY DREAM TURNS INTO A BOOK! i have to read my dream, so in the morning i usuially forget the text...any reason why that might be?

if anybody has any answers, solutions, suggestions, advice, PLEASE POST!!!!

Hey, welcome to the board! as for 'enabling posts' i think all posts are subject to moderator approval, so sometimes it might take a while for your posts to come through.

      Now, to answer your questions.

      1) when you go back into the dream, do you just go straight back in, or do you get any particular sensations, such as vibrations? From what you've said there, it sounds like you're a natural at WILDing. Check out this tutorial and see if any of it fits.

      2) somehow it seems the bedside lamp is a trigger for you to become lucid. An interesting one, i've never tried it, perhaps this will be more familiar to other members.

I recommend you make a post about it on This forum there should be some good answers in there.

3)Hmm...you say your lucid dream turns into a book, so you forget the text? do you lose lucidity at this point?
That's a weird one...usually, you see text in a dream, and it's that which makes you go lucid.

Well, hope this has helped you, if you have any more questions, feel free to PM me.

How about I move this thread for you? Don't worry, no one's upset - we just don't need the same exact thing posted in multiple places. *Moved*
