Yes. You can use the time in a lucid dream to improve upon skills. |

Now here is Nowhere
I woke up this morning and got into bed. Went up to the roof and swam down the chimney to the mall. They had a special on meat so I poured some into a glass and watered the milkman. Then I drew myself home and found the fish had ate the cat the cat had ate the dog and the dog had been eaten by the mailman. Then I got out of bed and went back to sleep.
I don't think it's a waste of an LD at all. Fundamentally, some studies have shown that "sleeping on it" is a great way to work out waking world problems, alone. As far as LDing goes, I think practicing waking world skills is a great thing. The most important mental conditioning (if you ask me) for a waking world skill is experience. Sure the physics may be a little different, but it's the mental preparation and familiarity ("the feel of the ball") that you can practice, while dreaming. And that can't hurt. |
