Thread: How Long Did It Take For You To See Hypnagogic Images?

Well all I have seen are little pictures (mostly animated) floating around. They are mostly faces and eyes, sometimes diffrent types of text, or pretty much anything. They all look cartooney and interesting to watch. Although it gets quite boring in time. I hope I get to see some of that real HI everybody is talking about... I don't eaven remember when I started seeing them.

I've never seen HI, but I begin to hear sounds very quickly. It's usually people talking in a busy place or yobs shouting at each other.

Why do you think they are freaky and demonic? They can be blue butterfles flying around. They could be anything.
Anyway. You don't really look for them. They are usually quick fast glimpses at first. If you remain calm they can become more vivid.
HI is a great thing. I don't think images always have to be used as a link to lucid dreaming. Images in themselves can be useful and inspiring.

most of the HI i see is just waves of color, mostly yellow green. they will spiral around and do different patterns in front of my eyes. Although on occasion i see a picture of somthing vivid and realistic (one time i saw a very realistic doornob lol ) but everyone is different. Some people cant see HI, some people dont feel the vibrations, and some people dont get SP (including me ) so maybe you dont get HI but thats alright hope you find what you're looking for!

The only things I have seen are just blobs of dark shades that either get smaller or larger repeatedly. Sometimes there is more than one but the only HI that I see that is detailed and very colorful is when certain psychoactive drugs are involved. I'm not sure if it is something different or not but the drug induced ones seem to be very similar, except more intense and beautiful. Sometimes I get to the point of seeing images that I can think of, except I can't always tell if I actually see them or if I just can visualize them in my head well enough to trick myself. But either way I enjoy HI.

I see HI almost every night, usually they're pretty clear.

I've seen my sister fly with two bathtubs on her legs with rock music playing in the background.

I've also seen russian soldiers marching in unison, with the first soldier carrying a sword.

Is this "HI" you speak of akin to those cool multi-colored things you see when you close your eyes for a long time?

Well...I have no idea what his sister's like, but.... I'd hate to see my sister naked right before my eyes...with two bathtubs on her legs and rock music in the background. LOL. Maybe I'll just try to get into lucid without watching HI.

i can see them, or will them to appear if i want. sometimes i will just think of something, and it will appear. i can go as far as to create entire scenes, and even control them if i want. seeing hi is easy for me, don't remember when i started seeing it though.

if i look at them long enough, they will even turn 3D, and i get WAY tranced out for some reason. i see them easier if it is dark, but can see them anytime if i focus a bit. i can even animate them if i wish to. just takes enough willpower/focus to see them.

like the old saying says ya can do anything you put your mind to...and thats just how it is for me, i don't give up untill i get what i want. i can create the hi/dreamscenes at will if i wish, and soon i will be able to enter a dream.

once i figure how to enter a dream, i can most likely enter them whenever i want if i try.

Maybe the figures you see are hypnagogic images!

I never knew that HI was pictures at all. I was under the impression that it was just blobs of dark colors. I guess I got the shit end of the stick with the whole HI thing.

I've tried WILD, I saw lights and stuff, but that happens whenever I close my eyes. When doing WILD, I know that you have to be completely relaxed, but would a cough disturb this?
