For me, I use the term "3rd person" to apply to any dream in which I'm passively watching stuff happen, and not actually in the dream myself. |

For me a 3rd person LD is rare but could be when I'm watching my dream self &/or DCs whilst also sometimes being them at the same time, and aware that its a dream - a bit like directing a film utilising and switching between different camera angles, whilst also being the actor(s) (as Howetzer said - kinda hard to describe but I think we are taking about the same thing.) |
