Although I understand that it can be scary, this is completely normal and you should let it flow. Don't be scared of this. |

lately i have been experiencing really strong vibrations as i'm falling asleep. I have also experienced weird shadow halllucinations and really loud noises. Like, deafeningly loud noises of some creature walking just above me. It feels like i'm awake, but it might be just increased awareness in the early stages of dreaming. . . |

The vibrations may be an indication that your body is getting close to having an out-of-body experience (OBE). People that have OBEs report feeling strong vibrations and paralysis just before they project out of the body into the astral plane. Have you felt separation from the body such that you can see your body lying in bed? |

Ehh, that's all sort of iffy. Scientifcally Howetzer is right. If you actually read up on the technique WILD you'll notice that these are good signs. As Howetzer says, it means you are close to falling asleep, but you're more aware of it that you usually would be. This can be used to your advantage. |

I almost always experience similar sensations while falling asleep; although I am not well-educated in their scientific nature, I can assert than they act as some form of lubricant between the waking state and the dream state without losing one's self-awareness. I will agree with you that they are quite unnerving in nature, but I believe that they are a natural and pivotal step in the development of a lucid dream. |

<div align="center">The night has gone; but I lay dreaming.
Morning has broken; but I lay dreaming.
Music plays on; but I lay dreaming.
The world got up, but I lay dreaming.
The whole world screams my name,
But I won't play their game.
The whole world can go to hell,
I just want to dream well.</div>

Thanks for the words of wisdom and comfort. |

I agree with Artelis on this one. |
