I find that when I LD, sometimes I can control when I can wake up. I don't usually do spinning, I just go on with the dream with the knowledge that I can choose to wake up when I want (when I have nothing to do the next day of course). Sometimes though, and this is odd, I feel like if I don't wake myself up I'll stop breathing. Does anyone else ever get this and/or is able to choose when to wake up?

I don't think you'll stop breathing if you don't wake up. I think it's something you've conditioned yourself to. For example, when I go to bed, I've got to go to the bathroom several times, before I'm able to sleep. However, in the middle of the day, I never go to the bathroom that often... :/

And maybe you should try spinning?
      Sure, why not?

I have the same thing with the bathroom thing lol. I don't have to do spinning, I just prolong the dreams naturally-it's weird. Actually, my dreams are shorter when I do spinning than when I don't do spinning.

naw dude you wont stop breathing. even if you were holding your breath for a long time your body will force you to breathe after awhile. that is how people drown. their body forces them to breathe and they take in water, so dont worry about that.

its really cool how you figured out how to control your dreams so you wont wake up. thats what i need to work on. do you have full control over your dreams?

Well, when I have LDs I usually have full control of how long the dreams last, but not always the content of the dreams. The dreams usually continue in the setting they began before they turned into LDs. But I find the busier I am in the waking world, the less time I have to be concerned about the dream world. LOL
