NEw to this whole "controlled" LD trying and all that.

So, let's start by telling what i tried.

Went to bed(hehe...naturally), closed my eyes and laid still.

Noithing, nothing, nothing. Then i start to feel a little twitching in my limbs, ok i concentrate on my breathing and just lay there. Then i feel like my limbs get pulled away, like constant feeling.

Then all my muscles start to ache, i can barely breathe, but, i keep at it and try my best to breathe and concentrate on..well i'm seeing nothing but black so, i took a darker spot and concentrated on that.

Then my muscles shake, all around shakes like in the cold.

Then all stops and i think, "Hey, am i getting somewhere" and the great finale....i wake upo 8 hours later in a heartbeat, no dreams, no nothing. Just poof and 8h gone

      Needless to say i was a little...huh?

have you read seeker's 'five phases of wild' tutorial? that's really good and informative...sounds like you were doing all the right things except for one.

It's extremely difficult to do a WILD as soon as you go to bed. it's recommended that you sleep for five or six hours first, get up for an hour or so and then go back to bed and try it.

I read -some- tutorial, probably the one you're talking about.

How to concentrate, what the stages are and so forth.

I knew i wouldn't probably "make it" as indeed it's evidently easier after you've "dozed" for a while.

That's kinda why i tried it straight away, wanted to see it in full state of concious first.

Can spook you a bit when you get to the whole "pressure, can't breathe" bit. Though i wouldn't have told the difference as i didn't want to move anyway

Thanks for the feedback, was curious to what it waas, and now i know i'm actually on right tracks

I just attempted my most successful WILD of all time yesterday. Basically the same thing happened except it stopped at the sleep paralysis part. I accidentally jolted myself awake because I was scared for some reason. I tried again two times and got pretty far, but just went to sleep.

      Trying again tonight.
