I wanted to hear what types of lucid skills and abilities you folks have. Perhaps compile a list, or just add some new moves to my lucid arsenal.

Flying: I can fly, float, hover, levitate, you name it. I'm a master of the skies. I always fall back on flying when my LD's go awry.

Jedi Combat skills: Super speed, strength, jumping, flips. And I can smash stuff REAL good. The ground cracks open when I really start smashing. Sadly I could never get that DragonballZ energy blast to work. Anyone else manage to pull that off?

Time Skills: I have some minor time skills, like being able to loop back to earlier parts of a dream, but I need more practice at these.

Energy Work: Can't rightly say what I'm doing in these dreams, but I seem to have them often enough to say I'm getting fairly proficient at something...

I can pass through stuff when I want to, although i dont do it very often. Does that have a name?

I always thought I would have crazy sorcery skills, but every time I try to cast a spell, nothing happens. Too bad, I was a big Raistlin fan back in the day.

Yeah, but you have to have certain skill you fall back on and use regularily. Some abilities in which you have a higher level of control than others. Don't try and tell my your lucids always go the way you want all time.

Nice topic...

Flying: I can also fly whenever I'm lucid, very easily. Hover, or whatever... but I've gotten to the point where I'm flying so fast that it feels more like teleportation. Like, if I'm on the ground and I want to fly up high real quick, it goes so quick that in one second I'm in the sky, and I didn't even feel the wind blowing on me, so it hasn't been as fun to fly lately.

Sorcery: I've done this a couple of times. I've caused lighting to hit things, and I've hurled fireballs at monsters before. The fireballs looked amazing, my hands turned into fire, and I just hurled the fireballs. This happened after I played Elder Scrolls IV for a while. hehe.

Time skills: I've tried this before, but I still can't control it. I stopped time on my first lucid when there were 4 warriors with swords chasing me. On my last LD, there were people with swords chasing me also, but the most I could do was slow time a little bit, but I ended up slowing down as well. hehe.

How does your energy work look like? What suggestions do you have for improving my time skills?

Well with my current luck with lucid dreaming all I can really say is.......

JUMPING
I can jump hundreds of feet in the air and land safely. I can also jump around aimlessly.

FLYING: This is the only thing ive had time to do considering ive only had 4 lucids, but i have absolute control. Like Nathan Patrelli from Heroes!!! I love flying, definitely a stress reliever.

Strengths:
• Frequency: Usually one to two LDs per night, three if I'm lucky like last night, which even included an LD where I woke up and managed to concentrate on returning to the dream immediately and continue it, something I've never done before. :) I hope it wasn't just a fluke and that I will learn to do it regularly. :)
• Clarity: Absolute. Every single one of my LDs are crystal clear and they have been almost since I first started having them. I never have false awakenings and I never lose lucidity, my lucid dreams always end with me waking up for real. I guess if I could choose, I would rather lose lucidity and continue a good dream than wake up, but oh well.
• DC mind control: Perfected it, can now get any dream character to do or say anything I want.
• Sorcery: Perfect, at least as long as we're talking about casting fireballs and frostbolts. Other spells I haven't attempted. I should mention I've never actually hit anything with these, I've just practiced casting them, so I can't say for sure whether they would actually hurt a dream character if I cast them. Violence is never necessary when you have perfect mind control. :)
Weaknesses:
• Flying: Just OK. I love flying, but I haven't practiced it as much as I would like. Sometimes I have problems flying as fast as I want and last time I ended up flying backwards. :(
• Time control: None, have never tried, but for some reason I think it's something that will be hard for me. Perhaps I can start with slowing everything else down like a bullet time effect? :)
• Transformations: Haven't tried, this is also something I think will be hard for me.
• Other super powers: Eh, none. I'm no Jedi and I'm no Hulk. :( I haven't even attempted those things, will have to work on that tonight. :)

Super Strenght
When I need to, I can be incredibly strong in dreams (both in lucids and non-lucids). This is primarily a result of my mental toughness. I can easily tear apart dream characters, throw very heavy objects such as cars, and some more stuff.

Flying
I can fly really good, altough it sometimes gets too fast making it hard to land properly.

Jumping
I can jump high and land correctly, altough this sometimes cause the dream gravity to become completely screwed up.

Creating
I can create stuff to appear behind me. I usually go around a corner expecting to see the thing, though, as it takes less effort than creating, and I don't want to take any risk waking up from an LD.

I wish I had your DC mind control, Nutzilla. They drive me nuts when I'm trying to go about my lucid business. Although I never really considered trying that. Could come in handy.

Neo Style flying - been a long time since ive had an issue flying.
Walking through walls - First few times I tried this it was a massive struggle.
Making DC's dissapear - I once made every DC in an entire shopping mall dissapear because they were getting in the way of my movement (it was packed full of them).
Dream scene changing - although ive got a way to go with it, ive managed to teleport/scene change myself to various places. It doesn't always go perfectly though, for instance i once changed the scene to a beach, but unlike the tropical paradise i was expecting it looked more like THIS
FLIPS! - Backflips, frontflips, sideflips, twisty flips, I spent what seemed like an hour, almost my entire first lucid dream backflipping in a small cobbled backstreet in Italy, with the locals watching me curiously. Everyone should try this, lots of fun and if you land on your head it doesnt hurt .
Climbing - OK not really a special power or anything but i spent a few lucid dreams climbing buildings n things, id love to say it was a waste but i really enjoyed it heh.

Teleportation - I can teleport to where-ever I want, at any time.

That's pretty much the only thing I've managed to master so far, but that's also pretty cool, if you ask me

FLYING - have pretty much got this in the bag. My favorite thing is hovering and just watching the dream

Walking on Water - have done this once, needs work

Shapeshifting - changed myself into a WWII fighter and went for a spin

Manifestation - creating the entire dreamscape with my mind

WEAKNESSES:

not enough LDs in a month, slowing my practice

wow, that actually sounds like something really fun to do. I guess it would be pretty much like watching your mind at work... like watching HI, except vivid and detailed, and in the form of people and scenery. Plus, you're hovering... how cool is that!

lol... I gotta give that a try sometime.

Nice skill set, Torcher. Water walking would be awsome, and I've never gotten the hang of shape shifting.

I suppose Lucid Endurance could be considered a skill. If one were to focus on staying lucid as long as possible, you could get the hang of staying lucid for longer periods of time. Never thought to focus on that one untill now.

I have had about 4 lucid dreams total. Last night I had one and decided to fly. And I flew, just like that. Although I did have a bit of a hard time slowing down and landing where I wanted because of the inertia you know.
I tried changing a car to a ferrari by looking away and looking at it. It changed shape, but never into a ferrari though.
I don't think that's too bad for a newbie!

Hmm.. pretty much everything, so far.. Well, anything that's gotten to mind in my lucids..

Believe me, it's just a question of belief. Why should flying be any harder than walking in dreams? Spiritofthewolf wrote an excellent post aabout this some time ago.. search it..

My only weakness I believe is forgetting sometimes what I want do in my lucid..

EDIT: I'm so confident that I've even practiced some ordinary every day scenes in my life, in lucids. Works like a charm..

hmm, not had many lucid dreams but once becoming aware i'm really good at increasing the realism of the dream, but i still need to perfect it because i usually wake up when becoming too aware, it'll come in time though

- WILD at will, up to about 3 times a day if desired. This is when I'm properly into a polyphasic sleep schedule
- Forcefields of all colours, sizes and effects. Sometimes they stabilise reality with green cracking sparks, or red one that pulses and causes fire + pushing. Or just a white one that is like a shield.
- Transform into a ghost - being ethereal tends to stop most malicious dream entities. Forcefields do the rest.
- Shapeshift - I've been a woman, a huge eagle and a flaming comet (useful for interstellar travel)
- Flying - I pretty much have this down pat now.
- Telekinesis + Electrokinesis
- Manifestation of objects
- Reading - I can read stuff in dreams. It takes a lot of effort though. I've manifested my own poem and read it in my dream.
- Underwater Breathing - Swimming in oceans, through the earth's magma, etc, without need for air
- Lucid endurance - I fell in love and lived with my girlfriend and her mother + gran, all within a lucid dream. Felt like at least a week or two.

Can't think of any more at the moment. But also can't think of anything that I can't do

i've never been lucid enough to do cool things because im always running from something when im lucid and im too stupid to remember to change the scene. but, i've been able to think something was in my pocket and i go to get it and its there. i've done the phone call thing twice. im usually pretty lucid moving around-wise. not much, but i still consider myself a beginner with 17 lucids. im just getting the hang of it.

Flying: Basically mastered it, I fly for transport in most LDs.

Phasing Through Solids: I'm becoming quite the master at phasing. Never really had a problem with it.

Lucid Endurance: I usually stay lucid until I wake up, no breaks in the dream.

Time Control: I can make time run backward "Prince of Persia" style.

I haven't actually tried my hand at this other stuff...but I've got to. First, though, I must find my Dreamguide.

Edit: Creating Objects, including DCs.

Manifestation of Burger King's I have created Burger King's in several lucid dreams (I was hungry )

Flying/Invincibility I have flown through roofs, windows, birds, and trees, at about the speed of a plane (really fast) without getting hurt. I have also jumped from things up to 200 feet high without being injured.

Mega Trippy Power! I have morphed everything in my surroundings right before my eyes and even "tripped out" at will in lucid dreams

Lighter Power! In one of my first few LDs I decided "flick" my thumb like a lighter, and it lit and i walked around with a little flame on my thumb, it was sick.

Haha, I know im not too good at being able to do cool stuff, but what ive done is definatelt fun

Swordfights

I simply love these. I usually wind up doing this if I don't know what else to do.

Pyrokinesis

I'm a natural firestarter. I have never practised it, but still I can torch almost whatever I want.

Energyblast

I once used kamehameha to kill a platoon of 5 centimeter-high dwarfs in red homeknit sweaters (yeah kind of weird).

Flying

Once I get started, flying comes really easy.

Telekinesis

Though I'm not as good at this as pyrokinesis, it still comes pretty easy.
The only measurable difference between the dream world and the regular one is whether the laws of "nature" are consistent in identical experiments.

Skills
Jumping - I can jump like the guys in The Matrix
Underwater breathing - I've used this a number of times and enjoy it
Spotlight vision - In dark areas my eyes become spotlights and I can see
Balance - No matter how precarious the situation I don't fall
Clearity - My lucid dreams are crystal clear
Beauty - Usually my dreams are in gorgeous places

Okay at
Swimming - Through air of course, I did this last night, but need serious work on it
Manipulation - The world changes not at will, but when I need it to
Conjuring - Sometimes by spinning or closing my eyes I can conjure someone or something
