Be patient. These things take time.

And you should have the information that you're after already from the obvious trend in the results....

EDIT: Oh, and you forgot WBTB which is what often works best for a large group of people.

Also, I hope you realise that DILD isn't a technique at all but rather a classification: DILD and WILD being Dream Induced Lucid Dreaming and Wake Induced Lucid Dreaming.

MILD is the basic (most often used, first associated) technique for achieving a DILD. It being willing yourself to have a lucid dream. And it does seem to be the one type of lucid dreams that people have most so good luck.

That's not necessarily true. DILD is a technique. You do reality checks and enhance your awareness to increase your likeliness of recognizing a dreamsign upon which you become lucid. But when I MILD i neather look for dreamsigns nor do a RC in my dreams, it's rather like I'm forcing my consciousness into my dream. Although if you consider DILD as a Dream initiated lucid dream I guess MILD fits that section too, but I wouldn't do that.
Currently practicing WILD. I quote Kaniaz who said it best: "The point of WILD is to piss me off". Though, I have not given up, far from it.

WILD for me. It seems most of my lucids are at the start of the night and after a semi-return to being awake usually in the same night. I can feel in a dream that I am in sleep paralysis, from there I exit my body and enter the dream fully aware.

I classify WBTB as part of most of these tecniques (sp?) cause for most of them, WBTB is the first step

I used to do WBTB with a MILD, that worked really well, now I just have DILDs.

whoa whoa whoa... although I've been lucid dreaming for awhile now, I'm still new to the whole lucid dreaming community/forums and can't understand the lexicon yet . Could you give a quickie description of what all these abbreviations mean (or... maybe at least throw out a quick list of what all these abbreviations stand for). Then I would be more than happy to take your poll.
Thanks much.

I'm relatively new to LD, but MILD has been the best so far.

Technically, WILD is "Wake-Initiated Lucid Dreaming". Please try to remember that so as to be consistent.

Most of my LDs have been variations of DILD.

I'd rather be an expert at WILD though, as it seems the most consistent - but it seems as though I can't do it until I've had an LD some other way in the same night first.
