Well there are a few ways, yes. You can start by trying not to think about it so much. The more you keep thinking hard about it, the harder it's going to be.

Try relaxing before going to sleep. Use one of the methods in the tutorials.

Calm down and you will have it eventually. Keep doing RCs.

And also, if you can remember your dreams well, look for a dream sign. It could be something you always see in your dreams, whether it be an object, animal, or person.

Also keep in mind that everyone has dry spells.

So, just try and keep relaxed, don't think so much about it, and you'll have it in no time.

Hope any of these can help.

      I have the same problem

i found out that if you try to stay relaxed during the day, when lying in bed breath deep breaths and then try to continue this once you become lucid telling yourself "stay calm, stay calm, what's the reason to get excited, big whoop! i'm lucid dreaming."

      Yeah,

I agree, We talked online but really the main things are:

-know you eventually will have more LD's.
-know that since you had some you have the ability.
-relaxation techniques before bed or whenever your excitement occurs. Breathing deeply and telling yourself
*that you can't avoid starting to dream, that it will happen.
*telling yourself that you will dream whether lucid or not and to take it as it comes.
-O yes, also if you like, you may want to switch your sleep schedule to a time a wee bit earlier like we said, to like 11/ 11:30 instead of 12/ 12:30. This may help you be les overtired and may help decrease that excitement a bit.

(Everybody has the problem over excitement over LD's, but just know the LD's will happen if you keep up with your RC's or whatever mind process your using, to calm down and take it as it goes.)

Hope to talk to you on MSN soon

Good luck tonight, and all nights (for me too)
