Thread: Whole bunch of Q's

Since I've just joined the site, I have more than one question to lay on the table. Rather than clutter the site I'm gonna stick it all in this post. Here goes:

1) Meditation 'guides' vs LD

A lot of spiritual sites regarding meditation speak of finding your benevolent 'guide' that will help you.
Regardless of what/who this guide is exactly, I was wondering if anyone on this site has an entity that is their guide or teacher in their dreams?
If so, what is their understanding of what/who they are?

2) Spinning feeling
----------------------
When I get into bed and close my eyes for a minute - 60% of the time I have a rushing and spinning feeling. Dizzying. At first I wrote this off to a physical reason - eg. imbalance of chemicals in the ear or perhaps the beginning and onset of sleep paralysis.
However I read some things recently that seem to imply that a spinning and vibrating sensation is the experience that the start of an OOBE creates. Anyone know more about this and how I can tell if it is OOBE? If so, what am I to do to take it further - because I'm not fighting it (I think)

3) Shared Dreams

I'm fascinated with the possibility of shared lucid dreams.. or at least just shared. In a recent poll on this site someone voted 'Yes, I've had a shared dream'. I'm really interested to hear these experiences as I have ambitions of experimenting with this...
