Last week with no effort on my part I had 5 lucid dreams in 3 nights. Recently after, I started trying hard again to reproduce those results. Tedious reality checks, looking around, and almost compulsively imagining myself back in the dream state, exhausting myself

Do I need to just continue doing some reality checks, and some of this, and "gently" think of lucid dreaming and let my mind take its course, or am I trying to hard to force results?

      Thanks for your help.

Thanks man, yeah I think once I get really physically tired from all my efforts I may have taken it a little too far. I may lessen the intensity and tediousness of it and let it come naturally hopefully.

That's right, trying to hard can actually be counterproductive. It's amazing what will happen when you stop putting stress on yourself and see what happens.

      Thanks Burns,

Yeah, I'm trying to tell myself to lessen it a bit, but you know, its hard, we all want LD's!
